Hardy Signs looping logo animation
The 2nd animation that I created as marketing executive at Hardy Signs was another Hardy Signs logo animation, but this verison was briefed to be a looping animation which would be placed in the corner of videos on social media, further enhancing brand awareness and keeping the company name in audience’s minds whilst viewing our content so they know where to look for the products and services shown.
The idea behind this animation was to start from nothing and have the full stop square from the Hardy Signs logo appear and letters jump out of it, like they are signage letters being unpacked from a box. The rotating letter ‘G’ is shown as the first and last point of animation to inform viewers that a change in animation is about to occur, chosen for its already unique rotated graphic style. The animation then disappears as if it is being sucked into the box in another animation style to keep it interesting and new, and the box promptly disappearing. Repeat.
My manager was impressed with these animations that I created for the company and I enjoyed working on these projects, so we decided that I would join the marketing team full time as we knew it would bring the most profit for the company due to my unqiue skillset, overcoming this obstacle of not having me working part-time in the marketing department.
